Turned wet, hollowed and burnished Maple Vessel. As the vessel dries, it distorts and changes shape to reveal the textures of the material. The movement also causes the wood to pull apart in certain areas due to the internal stresses of the tree being released. Making these is a process inspired by the life of the tree, always in motion.
