Underwater Fantasy

The assortment of textures that fiber yields is what made this work I do so interesting and pleasing to me as I embarked on this creation. Texture is the star of this circle weave and color the sidekick. As I chose and wove the different fibers and other objects into this piece, the surface began to mimic the textures created by the variety of creatures that inhabit the seafloor. I knew my study of texture had revealed it's own story.
