A fascination with the night blooming Moonflower plant/vine inspired me to paint a whole series of paintings with Moonflowers and the night creatures and insects that are attracted to them because of their heavenly smell such as lightning bugs. The use of iridescent watercolor medium adds a touch of sparkle to the blooms.
