Windows to the Soul

This heavily adorned Pine Needle Basket is composed of one continuous Coil of Fine Needles. This classic museum piece demonstrates all of the techniques of basketry that I knew at the time. It features a hardwood center, Large Tenerife weaving, agate slices, jade beads, copper pieces, fossils in shale. A letter comes with the basket describing all of the elements.
